    Her Story

    The Day Everything Changed

On a bright Tuesday morning, May 27th, 2025, Shelley walked into an ER hospital due to a sharp pain in her head, not knowing that in just a few hours, her entire life was about to change.
During a standard neurology test, while trying to spell the word “world”, she fell back into a stroke. Though she couldn’t respond, she was completely aware of the chaos in the room—staff running around, voices calling her name, testing sugar levels and vitals.
Later, while on the phone with her mother, after coming back from the first stroke, her words began to slur, as her arm dropped to her side. A second stroke! This time, leaving her with slow, impaired speech.

“I went from joking about being a speaker who couldn’t speak… to the faint whisper of ‘don’t let me die.'”

A little later, while sitting in the hospital room with family…the third stroke—the one that almost took her life. In a matter of seconds, her body began shutting down. She could literally feel the life being pressed out of her; becoming so cold, it felt (in her mother’s words) as though she had been lying in the morgue.
But then something happened. Everything stopped.
    “God said NO!”
Just moments from death, God Himself, stepped into the room…blowing His breath of life back into Shelley’s body. And from that moment, Shelley’s life was forever changed.
God didn’t just save her life—He redirected her purpose.
Now Shelley walks alongside faith-driven women, helping them juggle faith, family, and purpose without losing themselves in the process. Shelley teaches women how to trade burnout for grace, overwhelm for alignment, and pressure for purpose-driven living.
